→ Oranjebitter Mainstage
Oranjebitter is a festival that celebrates kingsday, a national dutch holiday to celebrate the birthday of the king. It is a good excuse to party in the middle of the week and Oranjebitter is one of the festivals to go to! This year the theme of the festival was based on a big houseparty, having different stages that were named after the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and garden. The main stage was the ‘living room’ and together with a group of other designers we made the design for the stage. Because of the house theme, we were inspired by the old doll houses, especially the layers when it is opened. We combined this concept with the fact that the design of buildings and houses start with a blueprint that the architects make. With the blue lines and the 2D aspect of the blueprint and the construction of the doll houses, we ended up with this result!
