(zak·ken·rol·len)

Noun [english; pocketroles]
The process of getting to know each other
through the contents of your pocket

This project consisted of a week-long coat exchange between 6 people. During our brainstorming sessions, we stumbled upon the fact that people can have the most random stuff in their pockets. These things all tell a story, we live our lives and experience different things. While doing that we collect artefacts, a receipt of the groceries of that amazing dinner you made, or a lighter for when you really need to light that candle. These items tell something about you, and we wanted to experiment with that. We raised ourselves the following question: Is it possible to connect two people that have never met, by wearing each other’s coats?
